1. How does it work ?
You browse our collection and if you see something you like, sign up as a member (free). You can then place your order with Bags to Riches and we will email you confirmation of your order. For orders requiring the bag the following day, we will need to receive your order prior to 4pm, and we will send you the Item in an overnight courier bag to your chosen address. For all other orders, you can search the calender for the specific dates you require. Your credit card will be billed for the hire fee appropriate to the Item hired. When you have finished with the Item you send it back to us in the pre-paid courier bag. It’s easy !
2. Why Hire ?
Hiring gives you the flexibility to change your look to suit your outfit or occasion, without your having to purchase the Item outright. Let’s face it, luxury (and real) designer handbags are not cheap and we all like to enjoy different looks for different occasions. This way you can look the part without having to pay the price. You will be the centre of attention at every event you attend.
3. How does the membership work ?
Membership is free. You become a member simply by signing up on-line. This will give you access to hiring bags and other benefits extended by Bags to Riches from time to time.
4. Do I need insurance ?
Insurance is your responsibility. If you deem it necessary then you should obtain insurance. If you do not and the Item is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed then you will be liable for the replacement cost of the Item. We can offer insurance on your behalf and we will add the charge for insurance (which will vary from Item to Item) to your credit card.
5. How long can an Item be borrowed for ?
You can borrow an Item for one week or one month. If you borrow it for one week and decide you love it so much you can’t bear to part with it, then you can continue to hire it. Additional hireage charges will be based on the Daily Rate - a reduced daily fee (90% of the weekly rate). If you wish to hire for a further week or extend to one month then the hire fees will be stipulated on the Weekly Hire Fee and Monthly Hire Fee.
6. How many Items can I borrow ?
As many as you like.
7. When will my credit card be charged ?
Your credit card will be charged on the day that you place your order.
8. How safe is it to pay by credit card ?
Safe ! Bags to Riches Ltd use DPS Express Payment Gateway. They are a secure and reputable Payment Gateway Company used by many websites around the world.
9. Do I pay for the Courier fees ?
No. Shipping is free within the North Island. South Island may incur shipping charges. We only ship within New Zealand.
10. Are all the Items authentic ?
Yes !!! We would not send you a fake. The whole purpose of Bags to Riches is so that you never ever EVER have to wear a fake ! Fashion faus pax !
11. How long will it take to receive my Item ?
All Items are sent in an over night courier with a reputable courier company within New Zealand. We do not guarantee overnight delivery, but that is the aim. If you live in a remote location then delivery is likely to take longer.
12. Do I need to be at the address to take delivery ?
Yes. You will need to sign for the Item. If you are not there, the Courier will leave a calling card and you will need to collect the item from their depot.
13. When does the Hire term begin ?
If you have hired the item for one week then the hire term begins from the day after we have handed the bag to the Courier.
14. When do I have to return the Item ?
You have to return the Item to us so that we receive it by the end of the hire term.
15. What if I return the bag late without arranging additional hireage ?
You need to inform us immediately if you have not returned the bag on time. Other people may have booked the bag and will be inconvenienced if you do not return the bag on time. In the event that you do return the bag late without prior approval from Bags to Riches, you will be charged a minimum of one week hireage.
16. What if I love the Item so much I want to buy it ?
There is a Buy Now price stipulated on the website. That price will be dictated by the age, condition and exclusivity of the Item. Some Items may not have a Buy Now price stated. You can contact us regarding those particular Items.
17. What is a Wish List ?
If an item that you love and you want is out on hire, you can add it to your wish list.
